Tea cups, tea pot, and tray used for the ceremony. All were given to Vivienne's grandfather as a housewarming present on the day they moved into the house in 1957. Found purely by chance as the family was going through the house looking for a suitable tea set to use, we reckon it was his way of making sure he was part of the ceremony.

We served Vivienne's grandmother first, being the most senior family member attending and also our hostess.

After the ceremony, we finally got to try some of the tea ourselves!

Reception dinner at the Singapore Island Country Club's Silk Restaurant! Viv spent a lot of time at SICC growing up so this was a significant spot, too.

We found out that these three were all born in the year of the Monkey, so this photo was basically a necessity.
